This time, after many discussions, we decided to choose a Bordeaux wine (a little wink to our city). “Classic”, you said? You shouldn't be so sceptical... Enough suspense! Just sit comfortably and try to imagine what its taste could be. ID Card: Name: Château Pierrail Vintage: 2014 ABV: 14.5° alc. Awards: Gold medal - Bordeaux Contest 2012 Wine Enthusiast: 89/100 Silver Medal: Los Angeles Wine & Spirits Competition 2012 Appellation*: Bordeaux Supérieur Location: France, Margueron (a little town near Bordeaux, south of France) Grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon Average price: 10.50 € Vivino: 3.7 / 5 ☆ Can be found at: La Ligne Rouge (Bordeaux) / Vin Chez moi (Paris) / CIVB (Bordeaux) / At the domain Advices: It’s a perfect wine if you want to drink a Bordeaux wine which is not a pain in the ass or very expensive ! It can be drunk alone, with just some good friends and tall glasses. As an uncomplicated Bordeaux wine, we can say it is quite surprising and exceptional for its price. If you really insist to eat food with it, we suggest the perfect student-wine-pairing: a classic Margarita pizza, with a little bit of persillade. But don’t you add chili sauce on it, you fool ! It would destroy all possibility for your tongue to capture aromas from the wine! Tasting Notes:
